She was grateful for his hospitality, not many have done that before. They’d usually give her an answer and shut the door. Despite his aura, he seemed pretty ice overall. Miku scratched the back of her head on she had captured the scenery in his kitchen. “Ah well, my little sister was practicing magic- you could say that anyway, and I appeared quite a ways from here.” Would he really believe her? Magical girls and faraway kingdoms? Probably not.
Despite that, she continued. “I had no idea what happened or anything, all I know is that I should get home quickly and make sure she’s okay.” The teen bit her lip nervously. Upon asking the availability of tea, she glowed ack into her cheery self. “Why yes, that’d be lovely thanks.”Requiem huh? How.. unique. She nodded, “My name is Hatsune Miku, I’m 16 years old. Nice to meet you.” Manners always made a good impression. However, something about him made her uneasy. He was lacking something. Whatever the case may be, she was sure to find out, but she didn’t want to have to pry into his private matters.
“Your sister is able to practice magic? Now isn’t that unique.” Lies or not, he wouldn’t know. Magic wasn’t anything fake, it helped all his dolls have emotions. “I had a friend come visit for who knows how long ago that was. A miss had given him some magic in a lock, I believe.”
“Whenever you wish to go home, I will help you. It is not too complicated of a task for me to do. I am sure your sister is doing fine. I would not worry too much about it. As I once heard in an unfamiliar village, ‘the more you think about it, the more it will become reality.’”
He bowed at her, “It is a pleasure to meet you miss Hatsune Miku.” He fixed his posture and headed towards the kitchen to fill a brass kettle with water, heating it on a stove. He washed the brass cups from the cupboard and set them on a table. He motioned her to enter, “Come on over and have a seat. The tea will be ready in no time.”
She was of course from another world, he sat down. “Out of curiosity, what is it like where you are from?”
Where I am from? She thought to herself, My actual world of the human world where I’m living at the moment?
Which ever one he meant, she had a feeling that she could trust him. Requiem was an odd one for sure, she wouldn’t think that he’d blow her cover. “Well, where I was born it’s a lot different from where I’m currently living.” Leaving out the whole magical act sounded good to her. “I was born into a lucky family, full of wealth and prosperity. I had a few siblings, I wasn’t alone. Our land was very rich with nature- trees and grass everywhere.” She sighed happily, reminiscing in the past.
Oh. That wouldn’t be very nice now would it? Daydreaming in the middle of an answer to a generous host. “To me, it was like dream- I could have had everything that I wanted.” Her expression hardened then as she sat across from him at the table, “As many say, good things must come to an end, and now I live in a close community of friends and family.”
Miku hummed quietly, “I still have yet to find out where the rest of my siblings and parents have gone. For now, I only have my younger sister and older brother. But that’s okay, we can manage.” Once her teacup was filled, she blew on it gently to help cool it down, “So why are you out by yourself on your own land, isolated from everybody else? If you don’t mind me asking, that is.”
Miku tilted her head sideway. “Uhm, I seem to have gotten lost. I’ve been wandering for hours and I was thinking about.. where am I? I haven’t really been around here before.” Her voice was soft and timid.
Her long teal twin tails were becoming more tangled by the hour, but she had tried to keep it from looking less ratty. Her eyes were rounded with curiosity, she hadn’t gone this far away from home before. Well, she figured, if it was far at all once she knew where she was.
However, his figure hadn’t frightened her in the least bit. She was strong, perhaps she could figure out why he lived all the way out here, which appeared to be by himself. Could she help him in any way? ”Sorry to be a bother and all.” The girl quickly added.
“You must have been wandering for a really long time to get here, I would be surprised about it. You are at my kingdom, I am not a king but I own everything on this land.” He couldn’t reassure her that he wouldn’t harm her, he tried his best to smile which held no meaning.
He looked to the side for the doorway to the kitchen. It was a mystery as to how she had gotten here to begin with but it didn’t bother him the slightest, not that it really could to begin with. “You are not a bother at all. It is nice to have people come over because there are no residents who live here as far as I know. I am not entirely alone but this is the only home on land. Would you like some tea, miss? I only make rose tea because it is the only flower that grows.”
He looked at her, “Ah, I should know your name. I go by Requiem.”

“Yay! Don’t mess this up for me, she is technically my sister still.”
Chibi Miku squishes her cheeks together, a fit of giggles escaping her lips. “I knew it!” She grabbed his hand, “Onii-chan! We’re going to play today!” Her voice called out, echoing in the distance. She seem to not notice the stares she had earned for the time being.
Well, here we go again.. You? Not so much. Good luck though.
‘Ha Ha, thanks mun. You’re a real help.’ He responded internally with a sarcastic tone, but quickly switched his attention
“Sounds fun. Where are we headed?” he smiled.
“I don’t know,” Her voice faltered. “Maybe uhm.. I don’t know. I wanna go swimming, nii-san! Let’s do that!” Miku clasped her hands together. “It’s nice out today,” She ran down the block then stopped, waiting for him. “C’mon you slowpoke!”
“Woah, hold on!” Blu exclaimed, although with a small smile on his face. “Don’t we need swimming suits and a place to swim to go swimming?”
Well duh. Wonder where she’s gonna take us. Or you moreso, but I’m coming along anyway.
“Well if you’re going to come along, shush and don’t make comments. Either that or get in here with me, and I don’t know how you’d do that. So ha!” the Vocaloid’s inner voice remarked.
You know, I could probably try that. Who knows what could happen. ;)
“Well crap..”
“Oh!” She giggled loudly, “Silly me, I forgot!” Miku still waved at him, “Well we can go find a place first. I need to go back to Gumi-nee’s house and find my swim suit there.”
Or was it back at her house in Mikuo’s room? Oh well, they’d probably have to go there anyway. Does it really hurt to check? Miku spun in a circle, her two tiers on her blue summer dress swirled out, dancing with her moves.
The six year old huffed, “C’mon onii-chan. We don’t want to waste the day away!”
A perfectly innocent face but a not-so-innocent plan. She was going to have fun with him today. She chuckled, glancing at him in a mischievous way discreetly.
“Well,” Miku hummed, “I don’t think so, I couldn’t have dreamed all of it. Whenever I go places and revisit my friends, they all remember me.” She didn’t seem to notice Izumo’s tone of voice, she had just continued on as if it was normal. “Mikuo-nii thinks it’s good for me to be out on my own, I learn things for myself.”What else could she say? Was it too soon to reveal her true nature? Sure, she was only six, but she was also capable of taking care of herself. Miku didn’t want to complicate things at the moment, if Izumo stuck around long enough, perhaps she would be let on in the secret as well. For now, it’d be okay to just think about getting along with the older.
“It’s not bad or anything.. is it?”
“I suppose not, but it’s dangerous.” Izumo commented on the younger one’s adventures.
Izumo remembered when her mother and father sent her to True Cross Academy, so she would learn some basic living skills and how to take care of herself. However, her parents didn’t really care for their daughter too much, and wanted to send her away in hopes her snappy attitude would change.
However, Izumo was ten years older than Miku, and this made a big difference. She was impressed slightly by the other, and how she could care for herself.
Miku smiled, holding up her hand, showing a thumbs up. “If I ever get into trouble, my friends will save me anyway.” But she didn’t want to sound like she’s also a damsel in distress! Okay, she could be but her stubborn-ness would prevent her from allowing others to save her too often. “I’m smarter than most kids my age anyway,” she brushed it off.
The mini diva clapped her hands. “I just love playing games though,” With that, her attitude took a sharp turn from carelessness back into being playful, “That’s how I meet new people. Most of my friends don’t play a lot of games because they think it’s ‘stupid’ or something. I don’t get it, so when I play with them, they remember how fun it is!” She bemed brightly.
“So will you play with me?”
Soft red light entered the bedroom, Requiem opened his wardrobe and dressed himself. He stretched out his hands, despite not being able to feel, he could tell his body was easier to move after repairing himself the day before. He could move much faster than before, it felt good,if he knew how to express emotions.
He began to make his way down the steps, the bats were chirping from above. The heels of his shoes echoes as he walked on the marble floor, he could hear the doors creak. He was puzzles, who could possibly be here?
To his surprise, a young lady was at the entrance who looked lost, she had long flowing hair, she resembled a doll in his theater room. She couldn’t be one, but this was an unexpected visit.
He tilted his head, “Hello, miss. Were you looking for anything? I do not know how you wound up here, but welcome.”
